Be my glory ever…
Christ is Risen, He is Risen indeed
Greetings from Glenabbey, Belfast, N. Ireland
Saints of Elmbrook church,
Easter signals the victory of Christ and the deliverance of humanity through Christ’s death and resurrection. He is risen! He is risen!
I won’t forget the ministry of Elmbrook church in my own life and the ministry to which God called me. Now studying in the USA, the even of 2007 Elmbrook International still remains fresh in my mind and i was able to visit the church last year because of the lasting impact it left on me.
Thank you Mel for being of tremendous blessings through the messages received daily.
The grace of God be upon you all.
HAPPY EASTER!
Ben Nasara
You made a lasting impact on us, Ben! Best wishes on your studies at Asbury.
Thank you, David. Greet our friends at Glenabbey!
God Bless you all this Resurrection season. I have fond memories of my time with you which continues to inform my pastoral leadership. Thank you for your heart to bless the wider church in the world.
Happy Easter from Ballymena, N Ireland.
Blessings to you, Norman.
Dear leaders from Elmbrook Church,
Greetings to you all in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Tomorrow all of us together with Christians from all over the world celebrate the resurrection of our Lord. This reminds us that “For God so love the world that he gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16).
He came to die for us but He has risen to give us eternal life. Not only that, we belong to Him, we are His children & we are brother & sisters in one family. So we need to care for one another and pray for one another.
Time has gone fast. Almost 5 months since we gathered in Elmbrook Church. I thank God for giving me an opportunity to know you, to learn from you & also to pray for you. Everyday I spend time to pray for everyone from Elmbrook Church whom I know& also pray for my brothers & sisters from 14 countries whom I met. Though we don’t know when we could meet again, I still remember you all everyday whenever I talk to our Father.
May the Lord pour out His blessings on your ministry & family abundantly & I wish you have a blessed & wonderful Easter!
I don’t see your name, but thanks for sending the greeting, whoever you are!

Thanks for the great words for this Easter. (I’m afraid we don’t see your name on your post.)
Dear Mel, International Centre Staff and all at Elmbrook. Greetings in the name of our savior Jesus who died on the Cross of Calvary and rose again, who is reining in Heaven for ever. Happy Easter.
The death and resurection of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ is the reason for Hope beyond death. It is amazing Grace for me to be part of why Jesus had to go on the cross. This season reminds of the event, but His Spirit affirms the reason for the event and He is the seal for my Salvation. The Salvation we get as a result of the event.
In Rwanda the easter days have coincded with the comemoration of the Genocide. Please pray for the survivors of the Tutsi Genocide. It is a very difficult time of remebering what they went though and their relatives who perished in the most cruel Genocide so far.
May God bless Elmbrook. You have been a blessing to Mary and myself.
Emmanuel – we stand with you as you remember the genocide, but also the power of God over every evil inclination.
Dear Brother and Sisters from Elmbrook Church,
My wife and I were so blessed by everything we’ve experienced with you at 2011 International Center program.
We would like to greet you on this Easter with 1 Corinthians 15:20:
But in fact Christ has been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep.
These words are a bold declaration that Apostle Paul made against unbelief or doubt. Christ has been raised from the dead, victorious over death and the cause of it, sin. He paid the highest price giving His precious life but gained the greatest victory through His resurrection.
Let us marvel and worship our risen Lord with a heart full of joy!
He is risen indeed!
With love and deep appreciation,
Florin and Denise Vasiliu
Thanks for your greetings from Romania, Florin and Denise. It is good to hear from you. May you have a blessed Easter.

Dear all,
as you may know, in Romania as in other countries with orthodox majority, we do celebrate Easter one week after you. That’s why this Sunday was Palm Sunday for many of us. In our church we have organized the water baptism of our 31 candidates who have confessed their faith in our Lord Jesus Christ as they have committed their life to serve the Lord.
We unite our prayers in love with you and give praises to God as we celebrate together again and again the risen Lord.

Oh dear! I didn’t check my mail the entire weekend in good time to respond to this….nevertheless Easter to you Pastor Mel and the entire Elm brook community that overwhelmed us with hospitality!, The experience at the International centre will forever be embedded in my mind as fresh as the other day. I continue to draw from some of the lessons learnt…as a matter of fact we did a sermon series last month drawing inspiration from your book “WHOLE CHURCH”, the series was dubbed “WE ARE FAMILY”. My family and the church are doing good, It is turning out to be a good first quarter of the year , we continue hoping for the best. Thank you for your articles they have amazing depth I continue to draw inspiration from them! Keep it up…you remain endeared to my heart and in my prayers. God bless you and all those who hosted us.

Dear Mel and all Elm brook People!
As I reflected over this Easter Period, I see that Elm brook has tremendously encouraged and pointed me God’s loving grace which I did not deserved at all. But for the Cross, I would have been doomed! Happy Easter to all of you people at Elm brook International Center.

Easter greetings from the Filipino migrant workers in Hong Kong!
Our joyful visit with Elmbrook through the IC and the Harvestfest will always be embedded in our hearts. Bolen (my wife) and I are encouraged to see a church that passionately loves the Lord and seriously seeks the Kingdom of God. We will never forget the warm hospitality of Elmbrook members like Jane and John Foerster. The resurrected Christ is indeed evident in this church.
There are 140,000 Filipinos in Hong Kong. 98% of them work as helpers in Hong Kong family households. These women left their own children to work abroad for the purpose of giving their own families a better future. This is a faint reflection of the work of Christ, who left the glory of heaven in order to suffer on the cross for the sake of those whom God chose to love.
Happy resurrection day!
Jorge and Bolen de Ramos (Hong Kong)
