I’m having very interesting conversations with Christian leaders from all walks of life these days. What I am asking them is: how do you think your life would be different if you had a renewal of spiritual leadership? Naturally, this prompts the question of what “spiritual leadership” means.
Good question! When we begin this study of “spiritual leadership today” on February 3, that is exactly what we will be pursuing. We’ll seek the wisdom of leaders from churches, organizations, businesses, education, and government. We know this much. Spiritual leadership takes into account that human beings, made in the image of God, and thus “spiritual” beings, are more than cattle to be herded, customers to be satisfied, lemmings to be led to a cliff. And spiritual leadership must also be God using human leaders as God himself exercises influence in people’s lives. But what do we do to make sure that happens? I hope you’ll join the discussion.
