And they sang a new song, saying: “You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals, because you were slain, and with your blood you purchased for God persons from every tribe and language and people and nation. You have made them to be a kingdom and priests to serve our God, and they will reign on the earth.” Revelation 5:9-10
It is an amazing sight when the General Assembly of the United Nations is gathered in the great hall in the UN building in New York. In the massive hall with giant wood panels, lofty ceiling, and granite lectern sit representatives of the 193 member states. Their faces and clothing show an incredible array from Africa, Europe, Latin America. From small island nations to empires. From the tropics to the arctic. After the trauma of World War II, there was a desperate need to do something—anything—that would prevent regional tensions from boiling over into global war.
But it is difficult to get the nations of the world to get along. Self-interest is the main practical principle at work.
At the end of the Bible, in the book of Revelation, we get a picture of the way the nations of the world really can come together. The dynamic is spiritual, not political. It is a solution to the disorder, the chaos, the wickedness, and the pain of the world via the human and divine sacrifice of the Son of God. In the suffering death of Jesus on the cross, people were bought out of the slavery of sin and fear. People from “every tribe and language and people and nation.” We are being made into “a kingdom and priests to serve our God,” and one day we “will reign on earth.”
Our Father in heaven…
Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
You are King. You are Lord. You are Savior.
We delight to submit to your authority because living under your reign is the only safe place in the world. We cry out because of the wrongness we see in this world. We long to see your kingdom extended and deepened. Lead us, we pray. Protect us, we pray. Send us, we pray.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen.
What a day it will be when we see Jesus again.

I pray that through us – Your Christ accepting servants – others who are searching for peace in this life may see a glimpse of Your Kingdom — finding YOU and seeking/accepting JESUS! May we humbly lovingly serve You so…may we faith walk with You ..may You hold us up in Your care as we pray for a closer walk with Thee oh Sweet Jesus hear our Plea… Then when all is said and done Your eternal Kingdom we will see — Glory to You our Lord God the Father, to our Lord God Jesus, to our Lord God the Spirit — all knees will bow and all will recognize the King of Kings Thy Kingdom will have come and all will be done…praise and glory to God, thank You Jesus…fill us all with Your Spirit…may Your return come soon!

It interesting that youve brought this verse in the book of revelations up coz it actually sez that the men will reign on earth,and again youve brought up the lords prayer which stresses this point.So am asking:(1) will we go to heaven or will the earth be made into a paradise for us to live in like Adam originaly lived and if this is so who then will go to heaven since its abundantly clear all over the new testsment that there are those who will go there?thnks your reply will be highly appreciated .
